TempoCal™

Calcium Biosensor Assay

TempoCal™

Calcium Biosensor Assay

TempoCal™ is a calcium biosensor that responds as a fluorescent reporter: 605nm-625nm fluorescent range (Excitation/Emission=610nm/625nm) . TempoCal™-control cells serve as a control for all products containing the TempoCal™ biosensor. This product can be used for single-cell applications, as well as medium to high-throughput screening platforms.

TempoCal™ + Tempo-iAstro™

TempoCal™ Calicum Biosensor Assay using Human Astrocytes

TempoCal™-iAstro: Tempo’s calcium biosensors are incorporated into induced human astrocytes. They respond to intracellular calcium changes in the 605nm-625nm fluorescent range (Excitation/Emission=610nm/625nm). With excellent signal-to-noise ratios, these biosensors operate on second-to-minute scales.

Tempo’s calcium biosensors are incorporated into human iPS-derived astrocytes. They respond to intracellular calcium changes in the 605nm-625nm fluorescent range (Excitation/Emission), measuring fluctuations in cytosolic calcium concentrations. “Calcium Wave” is a key feature of functional human astrocytes. With excellent signal-to-noise ratios, these calcium biosensors can operate on second-to-minute scales. They can be used for single-cell applications, as well as medium to high-throughput assay platforms.

TempoCal ™ + Tempo iNStem™

TempoCal™ Calcium Biosensor Assay using Human Neural Progenitors

TempoCal™ calcium biosensors are incorporated into human neural progenitor cells. They respond to intracellular calcium changes in the 605nm-625nm fluorescent range (Excitation/Emission = 610nm/625nm), measuring increases or decreases in cytosolic calcium concentrations. With excellent signal-to-noise ratios, these calcium biosensors can operate on second-to-minute scales. They can be used for single-cell applications, as well as medium to high-throughput screening platforms.

TempoCal™-iNStem are derived from integration-free induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines under fully defined proprietary neural induction conditions. TempoCal™-iNStem cells are polarized structures when plated as a monolayer in culture and express markers such as Vimentin. We’ve validated iNStem™ cells to be multipotent neural and glial progenitor cells, as they can be further differentiated into neural and glial cell types under specific in vitro reprogramming conditions. TempoCal™ biosensor is introduced to the cells using proprietary liposome mediated methods.
