We are looking for a Technical Alliance Manager (TAM) to join our team. Tempo’s TAM will connect with our clients and engage prospective clients.  S/he will learn about the clients’ research and development needs and help them explore how iPSC-derived disease models and biosystems can help them accelerate their projects and achieve their goals.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, works collaboratively, stays organized, is an excellent communicator, and is highly personable. Basic Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences or related field and a minimum of 1-2 years of biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Hand-on experience with mammalian cell cultures and iPSCs based cell models.
  • Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new cutting-edge technologies.
  • Organized self-starter able to prioritize workload and partner with external parties.
  • Ability to work independently and to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Skilled at crafting and delivering scientific data.
  • Strong communication skills including teaching, writing, and spoken communication.
  • Experienced working with standard document, spreadsheet, graphic, and presentation softwares.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with internal and external parties.
  • Experience in the biotech industry in the R&D and preclinical settings.
  • Prior experience with CRM software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients based on their R&D needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to external parties.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing teams.
  • Work with Technical Support and the R&D teams to provide solutions to clients.
